It is a combination that makes 654 horsepower and 545 lb.-ft of torque, which is then sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed dual clutch gearbox. The electric motor adds an additional 164 horsepower, bringing the combined output to a staggering 818 horsepower. With a 0-60 time of under three seconds, the 296 is extremely fast, but just noting its performance does not do the drivetrain justice. Despite all that power, the 296 should still return about 47 MPGe on the highway according to the EPA.
