With such a beautiful design in both the coupe and roadster convertible, one could be forgiven for thinking the new Vantage is all show and no go, but that assumption would be wrong. The Aston Martin Vantage is powered by a 4.0L V8 engine fed by twin turbochargers supplied by Mercedes-AMG. This combination is enough to make 503 horsepower which is sent to the rear wheels via a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. This 8-speed is ultra-responsive and can be shifted via paddles behind the steering wheel. With this combination, Aston Martin claims a 0-60 time of just 3.5 seconds for the 2022 Vantage, making it a truly supercar fast.
Like many high-end manufacturers, Aston Martin offers a few separate trim models for the Vantage. The Manual and Automatic Coupe and the Roadster. Each model comes with a beautiful interior featuring acres of Strathmore leather and Alcantara, a black leather steering wheel with optional carbon fiber, dual-zone climate control, keyless start/stop, memory seats, Bluetooth and an 8-inch LCD screen to house the navigation system.
Optional distinctive interior features include more aggressive sport seats, heated and ventilated seats, a park assist system, a 360-degree camera system, a premium audio system, a first aid kit and even an umbrella holder.
Outside styling, the Vantage comes on standard 20-inch wheels front and back, shod in sticky Pirelli P Zero tires. Optionally, buyers can add an exterior graphics pack, a rear diffuser in a variety of finishes, a choice of several grille colors, carbon fiber door handles, a variety of color options for the huge brake calipers, matte black exhaust tips, adaptive dampers and a carbon fiber engine cover among other things available in both the Coupe and Roadster model. In addition to all those great features the Track-ready AMR include racing inspired carbon-ceramic brakes.
Several option packages are available, including a tech collection package that adds an interior touchpad, switches made of glass for the interior, the park assist system and a blind spot monitoring system. A comfort collection package adds heated seats that adjust in 16 different ways and a Sports Plus collection that adds sport steering and seating.
