2017 Aston Martin DB11 Cinnabar Orange Bang & Olufsen Beosound, Lux Pack, 20" Wheel 2D Coupe Details
At the heart of the DB11 is a brand new 5.2L V12 engine quipped with two turbochargers. The engine produces 600 horsepower, sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. It's the only engine offered this year, though Aston Martin has plans to add a less-expensive V8 option soon. For now though, the DB11 will hit sixty miles per hour in 3.8 seconds while topping out at 208 miles per hour. Those numbers sound like supercar numbers but remember: the DB11 will do all of this with astonishing levels of luxury too.
For 2017, there is only one trim level in the DB11 lineup, but it offers tons of standard features as well as a plethora of customization options. Want a gold finish on the underside of the hood? Aston Martin can do that. Strathmore leather seating not good enough? Aston Martin offers the option of Caithness or Balmoral leather as well, describing the latter as being hand-selected from the top ten percent of raw hides, as well as hand-milling for an incredibly soft feel. Selecting the Celestial Perforation option adds intricate perforation designs in those leather seats and throughout the rest of the leather clad interior.
Other notable options on the DB11 include somewhat whimsical items such as a 4-piece set of custom luggage or a custom umbrella. More conventional options include a heated steering wheel, blind spot monitoring, an automatic parking system, an active spoiler and a huge selection of 20-inch wheels. Aston Martin also offers a performance driving course for anyone who really wants to try their DB11 out at the limits, on a race track.
Beautiful But Modern Styling
Powerful V12 Engine
The Aston Martin DB11 is a brand-new model for Aston Martin, sitting towards the top of their range, representing Aston's take on a luxurious grand touring coupe. The DB11, like the DB9 it replaces, features a V12 engine, two doors and smallish back seats. It's a less hardcore car than the 2-seater Vantage, while being smaller and sportier than the 4-door Rapide.
The Aston Martin DB11 has little competition in the lofty place it holds among super cars. Prospective owners can expect to pay a little more than $210,000 for the privilege of owning the DB11. The Aston competes with the likes of the Bentley Continental GT, while the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso could also be considered a rival, but costs somewhat more, starting around $300,000. The Aston Martin DB11 offers a sportier driving experience than the Bentley, while arguably being better looking than either car it competes against. All three offer incredible levels of luxury and while anything at this price qualifies as exclusive, the DB11 is on another level of both rare and desirable.
